Wells Library

The Wells Library contains a ‘parish Pack’ for Chewton mendip and several other villages which provides an introduction to the history of the village. The parish pack contains extracts from several history books including Collinsons but the most significant source are Kellys Directories which provide a fairly detailed view of the village from Victorian times.
