Ford Dairy

Graham Pullen 1968What was once Ford Dairy on the Litton Road is now a car and van business. The picture on the left shows Graham Pullin with two of his milkmen in 1968. Pullins dairy was one of several businsses in the village and it delivered milk to homes and shops. This picture is taken from an article published by the Wells Journal.
718Ford Dairy is now in Litton parish but some of it is shown on the 1794 map which suggests it was once owned by the Waldegrave family.
Ford Dairy is also shown on the 1840 map and it is possible that a mill once stood somewhere on the site.
