Hibberd

William Hibberd was paying rates to for anestate  in the Town Tithing of Chewton Mendip from c1704 to the 1770s  according to the 18th century churchwarden accounts and poor-law records. The length of time suggests that a father and son was involved but no other reference to the family in Chewton Mendip has yet been found

The estate included Holly Marsh in 1754 but but no other description for the state has yet been found.
