Newlands Farm is in Green Ore so it is not shown on the 1794 map. It is not shown on the 1800 or 1839 tithe map an Newlands is a relatively common name.

It may have formed part of an farm mentioned in the 18th century churchwarden accounts or poor book that may have been in the Middlesex tithing but other records suggest it was part of the Mendip Forest.
