Atwood’s Cottage

A cottage in Grigs Pit in the the West End was the occupied by William Atwood and his family in 1740. The family is  listed in the 18th century churchwarden accounts and poor-law show

The cottage is shown in 1794 and 1839 when it was occupied by William Edwards.
