Moorecroft

There are references to an estate called Moorecroft, in the churchwarden accounts and which start in 1699 and the poor book dated 1730 to 1769 but it is not shown in the 1794 map. Most of the records put the state in the West End and that it belonged to the Waldegrave family.

The Bendles were paying for this estate in the early 18th century. No direct link to the Moore family has yet ben identified.
