Woodside

WoodsideWoodside is in Lower Street  and was one of the earliest brick houses built in the village. It was built by John Henry Flower sometime in the early to mid 20th century.
The 1794 map is not clear about what is on the site but 1840 map shows there were at least two cottages and a small field on the site that now divided between Woodside and Copper Beaches next door. The occupants of the two cottages in 1840 were John Ball and Jesse Payne.
