Butt

Butt may be an alternative spelling of Batt and only one reference to the Butt  family  family has so far been found in the poor law  records dated c1729 in page 2003b.

Thomas Butt was paid for keeping Jacob Lane in custody by Chewton Mendip parish in 1754.
