Board

The Board or Boord family  appear in the records  in the 17th and 18th centuries. A Francis Board  was  responsible for an estate in both the West End and East End tithings. Their land was probably owned by the Kingsmills until 1785 and they are not listed as owning land in the 1794 map.

They are listed in both the 18th century churchwarden and poor law book as rate payers.
