Parfitt

Isaac Parfit of Clutton married Elinor Webb of High Littleton on 14/7/1740 in Chewton Mendip. The next refernce to the family is in 1841 when John Parfitt was the tenant of Blackmans in the Town tithing.

John Parfitt was the Waldegrave agent in 1851 and this could explain why the Blackman farmhouse was upgraded. John was married to Hannah and their son, also called John, died at the age of 22 in 1857. Their daughter, Hannah, married George Miles.
